खानु ... जिथे पुणे संपतो .

चांदर ला काम करत असतांना खानु ला खुप वेळा गेलो. कधी दत्त जयंती ला तर कधी नुसतं फिरायचं म्हणुन .

चांदर पासुन खानु ला पायी जायचं असल्यास एक -दिड तास तरी लागतो. (माझ्या सारख्या आळशी माणसाला दोन तास)

खानु म्हणजे पुण्याचं शेवटच टोक. येथे पुणे संपतो आणि रायगड जिल्हा सुरु होतो. किल्ले रायगड, लिंगाणा या ऐतिहासिक किल्ल्यांचे दर्शन ही आपल्याला या भागातून करता येते.

खानु गाव तालुक्याच्या ठिकाणापासुन अलिप्तच , त्यामुळे या ठिकाणी पोहचणे एक दिव्यच.

या Lockdown च्या काळात येथील कुटुंबांना मदत व्हावी या हेतुने नेहमीप्रमाणेच अवचित मारुती ट्रेक्कींग ग्रुप पुढे सरसावला आहे.पुनित बालन ग्रुप यांनी महत्वाची भुमिका यात बजावली आहे.

आज या गावातील लोकांना भेटून आम्ही सर्व खुप आनंदी आहोत.

ज्यांना खरी गरज आहे त्यांच्या पर्यंत पोहचु शकलो यापेक्षा दुसरे समाधान नाही.

घोगटीवस्ती- चांदर गावाची एक छोटीशी वाडी. हे ४-५ कुटुंबाचे ही वाडी.मुख्य गावापासुन अलिप्त असल्याने अनेक गोष्टीपासुन वंचित आहे. आज याठिकाणी ही पोहचता आले. गावातील विठ्ठल राव आमचे मित्र. सहसा त्यांच्याकडे असे कुणी येत नाही.आम्ही त्यांच्याकडे पोहचतात त्यांच्या चेह-यावरील हास्य खुप काही सांगुन गेलं.

Khanu ... where Pune ends.

I went to Khanu a lot of times while I was working at Chandar. Sometimes on Datta Jayanti and sometimes just for a walk.

It takes at least an hour and a half to walk from Chandar to Khanu. (Two hours to a lazy man like me)

Khanu is the last point of Pune. Here Pune ends and Raigad district begins. You can see the view of historical forts of Raigad and Lingana from this area.

Khanu village is detached from the taluka, so it is a miracle to reach this place.

Ghogativasti- A small wadi of Chandar village. We had an amazing view of Lingana from this village. This is a village of 4-5 families. Being detached from the main village, it is deprived of many things. I was able to reach here today. Vitthal Rao from the village is our friend. The smiles on his face as we approached him said a lot.
